After School

After-School Inclement Weather Days: If your child’s school is dismissed early in either Buncombe, Henderson, FernLeaf, or at IC Imagine due to inclement weather, the after-school program will NOT pick your child up early. If the OPPOSITE county remains in school for a normal dismissal, then you may bring your child to Hahn’s from whatever time they are dismissed until 6:00 PM. If BOTH counties are dismissed early, our after-school program will be closed for the remainder of the day. IC Imagine typically has weather closures similar to those of Buncombe County Schools. Contact us if there are any discrepancies. Please use good judgment and drive safely. If Buncombe, Henderson, and IC Imagine schools are closed for a full day, please call us at (828) 684-8832 to see whether or not the after-school program is open. We will also post on Facebook, WLOS, and send out an email with all changes or updates. Please be sure to check your email! Again, if we are open and you wish to bring your child, please use good judgment and drive safely.

Recreational Classes

We always wait on the weather to arrive to decide on what we are going to do for the day. We usually make the call by 12:00 PM at the latest for the later afternoon classes and around 10:00 AM for our morning/homeschool classes. Once the decision to close is made, we will post it on WLOS, we will send an email out to all of you, and post it to our Facebook page.
