Team Philosophy

Our goal is to provide the mental and physical discipline needed for competition within a framework of positive reinforcement and encouragement. Learning to be comfortable in a competitive situation is a positive experience and adds to a gymnast's development.

Our Program

Every year, Hahn's Gymnastics fields some of the most competitive gymnastics teams in the region. Our invitation only teams work hard and forge friendships that help them grow physically and mentally. We are proud of our teams, and we are proud of the girls and boys who participate in them.

Team Competitions are a great way for our athletes to have fun together while showing what they have learned. Gymnastics takes commitment, hard work and determination and the competitions give our gymnasts the opportunity to SHINE!

It is also a great opportunity for parents to get close to their child and share in their children's sport.

Some of our 2009-2010 team accomplishments include:

  • Foothills Fall Invitational
    • Level 4 - 3rd place overall
    • Level 5 - 2nd place overall
    • Level 6 - 2nd place overall
  • Crown of the Carolinas
    • Level 4 - 2nd place overall
    • Level 5 - 4th place overall
    • Level 6 - 1st place overall
  • Smoky Mountain Gymnastics Vacation Classic

Notes:

  1. Gymnasts are requires to obtain a score of 34.00 TWO TIMES in one level before being allowed to advance to the next level. For example: A level 5 must not only qualify to states and have all of the level 6 skills to move up to level 6, she will now be required to score a 34.00 at two meets as a level 5)
  2. The compulsory (levels 4-6) season is over in December (after States). However, if your daughter has obtained the required scores and has the skills for the next level, the coaches may invite her to compete at the next level. Again, this is at the coach's discretion.
  3. Meet fees will be posted several weeks before each meet. These fees must be paid by the due date. NO EXCEPTIONS! If these fees are not paid by the due date, your son or daughter will not be able to compete in that meet.
